It all started when Nick Andricopulos' grandfather immigrated from Greece and opened a Malt Shop & Hamburger Restaurant in the Roseland neighborhood in the 1940's. That restaurant eventually became Nick's Fat Boy in the 50's, 60's, & 70’s.
After working as a bread salesman, Nick decided to revive the family business, using the family recipes he grew up on. In 1986, he opened his first restaurant in Burbank, specializing in authentic family recipes, featuring homemade ribs, beef, chicken, and BBQ sauce. Since then, a loyal customer base has formed through exceptional food quality at great prices.
Four generations later, Nick is proud to run the business with his two sons, Stephen and Michael by his side. Over the past 38 years, Nick’s Barbecue has evolved into a family owned and operated business, with 4 locations serving great ribs & food with enough variety to please everyone!
